The Antwerp Declaration brings together the views of academic researchers, policymakers, practitioners and business leaders from the wider ecosystem services community, and sets out three clear calls to action for the framework to deliver societal impact. The Declaration was launched on the 23rd of September 2016 at the European Ecosystem Services Conference in Antwerp and is on a collaborative process including an extensive survey with more than a 100 responses and several discussion events at the conference. Since its launch, this bold vision for the ecosystem services framework has already gained over 300 signatories from across science, policy, public and private sector.

Over the coming months the Declaration team is working hard to make sure its key messages feed into several high-level policy platforms, such as the upcoming COP13 for the Convention of Biological Diversity in Cancun and IPBES, alongside publications in high-level academic journals. You can show your support and help get the message across. Sign the Declaration today by following this link.
