Multifunctionality is also gradually being acknowledged at the conceptual level in several land-use policies, such as spatial planning, water management, forestry, green infrastructure. 'ES bundles' can make the multifunctionality concept more concrete. This Synthesis Paper (SP) will explore the distinction between ES bundles and multi functionality.
