On 5 May 2020, the expert workshop "Urban nature-based solutions in Germany – experiences, successes and future challenges" will be held online as part of the NATURVATION project. During the half-day web-based event, organized by Ecologic Institute, the most important project results from NATURVATION will be presented as a basis for discussions about future challenges, need for action and options for nature-based solutions (NBS) in Germany. Highlights will include a presentation of the findings from 150 German NBS case studies from the Urban Nature Atlas, as well as insights on innovative NBS financing, cooperation and governance examples from across Germany. These will be discussed together with experts from practice, politics, administration and research in an interactive online format, enabling live question and answer sessions between participants and presenters.
