Join A-Track, the Nature Positive Initiative and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) for a webinar exploring the latest globally agreed metrics for measuring nature and how these metrics can support businesses to understand their nature-related issues and transform business models towards nature-positive outcomes.
The webinar will first focus on globally agreed metrics to measure the state of nature and how those are incorporated in major disclosure and target-setting frameworks. The Nature Positive Initiative will present its recently launched State of Nature Indicators and Metrics Framework, while the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) will explore how the metrics are being integrated into the updated LEAP approach and can inform business decision-making, assessment and disclosure.
Building on these presentations, speakers from A-Track will share insights into how nature metrics can be embedded into business decision-making and used alongside other information to assess nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities to support the transition towards the global societal goal of a nature-positive future. Business case studies will also showcase practical experiences of measuring the state of nature and transforming business models.
The webinar will close with an open Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to put their questions to the speakers and explore how nature metrics can be translated into practical action.
