Organised by the TCPA on behalf of the Green Infrastructure Partnership and Natural England, this online conference will provide an opportunity to gain an understanding of:
- the role of green infrastructure in the delivery of a healthy green recovery through creating distinctive, community-focussed, nature-rich healthy environments that address social inequalities and climate change,
- how new policy and delivery initiatives such as biodiversity net gain, green social prescribing and the nature recovery network can support green infrastructure, and
- the draft new national Green Infrastructure Standards Framework, due to be launched in 2022, with a pre-view of GI Mapping and tools
The event will be of particular interest to: national, regional and local politicians; planners; environmentalists; park managers; ecologists; landscape architects and land managers; developers; public health professionals; and academics.
