We are pleased to invite you to join us for a talk on “Public procurement: innovative approaches to
support NbS implementation”, organized by CLEVER Cities. This session will be hosted by the
Municipality of Milan with the support of Ambiente Italia and ICLEI.
The meeting will provide an overview of the challenges commonly faced by cities looking to procure
Nature-Based Solutions (NbS). The city of Milan will share some insights on opportunities for
addressing those barriers, building on its recent experience going through a public procurement
process supporting the implementation of co-created green roofs and walls solutions in over five
public and private buildings in the city.
