Thanks to everyone who made it to the TF cluster meeting in Brussels today! Here are some rough notes from our TF4 meeting. We will discuss relevant points in greater depth at our next online meetings!
- EcoAdvance has a Media advisory group. This group provides feedback on communication materials. Was messaging clear? Were videos too long? This is used to evaluate communication work. Would we want to consider something like this for TF4? We could do this during meetings or have a community list serv, where people can ask for feedback. The EcoAdvance lead always tailored the questions to the people she sent the items to. Quality control after the fact. Mid project evaluation, so that you can course correct. Should we send an email inviting people to be on an advisory list? Is there a method as well for chronicling feedback when appropriate (for example providing feedback on a deliverable).
- People have access to other networks. How do we partner if we are no longer active in EU projects? Can we use the website still? Absolutely! NetworkNature cannot act as your advertiser, but if your work is relevant to our audience, of course we want them to see it! Submit your events, resources etc. We may not be able to publish everything, but odds are we can do something to support you. These networks can also be a platform for dissemination. Global Forum - Shaping the Future was the example used. NetworkNature has international networks as a target audience, so this kind of partnerhsip would be perfect.
- What about when projects end? What are our obligations? Can we stay in the TF? Yes! You have to decide if it serves you.
- Funding options: NbS for journalists? Videos? Time is limited to create the evaluation (See the NN labs). Perhaps this idea, even if it isn't funded, is relevant for their own project. We also will look at connecting for potential NN labs in the next week--need to be sure we integrate other TFs!
