Opportunities
· Consultation on draft European Research & Innovation Roadmap for Nature-based solutions - by taking part in this NetworkNature consultation you can help shape the European Research and Innovation Roadmap for Nature-based Solutions until 18 September.
· The Urban Agenda for the EU is launching two new thematic Partnerships: Greening Cities and Sustainable Tourism. Partner cities, Member/Partner States and other organisations are encouraged to apply to Call for Partners: Urban Agenda for the EU Partnerships on Greening Cities and Sustainable Tourism | Futurium (europa.eu) until 16 September.
· H2020 project CLEVER Cities invites you to submit your article by January 31, 2023 to be considered for inclusion in the Urban Forestry and Urban Greening Special issue on "Augmented Nature Based Solutions (NbS) for Cities."
· Embracing our mistakes, instead of trying to hide them, can help us, and others working with co-creation, to learn, grow and improve. H2020 project The Edible Cities Network invites you to share your experiences with co-creation - the failures, errors and mistakes - via their public survey.
Events & webinars
· Registration for NetworkNature Annual Event in Brussels 27.9 is still open! Join the event to learn about upscaling nature-based solutions in policy and practice H2020 project
· CLEVER Cities is hosting its second UrbanByNature Latin America Hub webinar: Setting goals with local residents and stakeholders. The event will take place August 11, 9-10 am ECT and is offered in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
· H2020 projects OPERANDUM and PHUSICOS organise an international summer school on “Nature-based Solutions for hydro-meteo hazards and climate change adaptation” that will take place in Bologna, Italy, from August 29 to September 1, 2022.
· This August and September, H2020 project The Edible Cities Network will be welcoming project partners and the public to Visit the EdiCitNet Living Labs in urban farms across Europe.
· European Urban Resilience Forum 14-15 September in Athens, Greece has several sessions focusing on nature-based solutions, biodiversity and ecosystem restoration, featuring findings from Horizon funded NbS projects, such as proGIreg, MULTISOURCE, NICE and REGREEN.
· H2020 project JUSTNature will present at the 58th ISOCARP World Planning Congress “From Wealthy to Healthy Cities”, 3-6 October 2022, Brussels

· NetworkNature Factsheet - Nature-based solutions: are we restoring our relationship with nature in Europe? This Factsheet provides an overview of some of our current societal challenges in different sectors and practical, on the ground examples of how nature-based solutions are used to tackle them.
· NetworkNature Factsheet: Seizing opportunities for ecosystem restoration to tackle societal challenges. This factsheet explores the potential of ecosystem restoration actions to halt and reverse the degradation of ecosystems. It provides an analysis of several restoration projects carried out in diverse ecosystems, addressing multiple challenges.
· NetworkNature Knowledge Brief: Taking nature-based solutions up the policy ladder - from research to policy action The brief provides an overview of the nature-based solutions knowledge gaps to help support policymakers in better understanding the research needs which can strengthen the implementation of nature-based solutions.
