In ECOMPASS we support the ambitions of Nature Restoration Regulation by delivering a co-created web-based Decision Support System (DSS) that translates nature’s multidimensional monetary and non-monetary values into clear, holistic and investable opportunities.

This DSS is a single, intuitive platform that delivers customized outputs for key nature-restoration enablers: 

• For policymakers, it provides high-level dashboards to monitor and predict progress against NRR targets, assessing the socio-economic impacts of different policy scenarios. 
• For investors, it generates standardized, bankable metrics, including cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and sector-specific revenue predictions, to build a business case for restoration. 
• For implementers, it offers practical, GIS-based guidance on the most effective and proven restoration actions for their specific context.
