The OpenNESS workshop 'Ecosystem services and EU regulatory frameworks: Experiences from real-world decision-making' hosted in Brussels was a great opportunity for Oppla to share knowledge and to be involved in the latest thinking on nature-based solutions. Christoph Görg opened the workshop with an introduction of the OpenNESS project, which set out the objectives to encourage a two directional exchange between science and policy/decision-making and for there to be a transdisciplinary co-production of knowledge.
At the workshop Rob Wolters presented 'How can Oppla help?', detailing why Oppla is the perfect place to look for products and examples to facilitate real-world decision-making: offering case studies, tools and resources from people across Europe who have experience of ecosystem services and EU regulatory frameworks in policy and practice.
