eNaBlS

The eNaBlS project aims to mainstream biodiversity and Nature-based Solutions (NBS) within higher education and vocational training centers. By fostering transdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, eNaBlS seeks to integrate NBS concepts into academic curricula and professional practices, promoting sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.
Central to the project are the establishment of Living Labs—interactive platforms that engage diverse stakeholders to co-create and implement innovative educational approaches. These Living Labs facilitate the development of new teaching, learning, and capacity-building methods that are relational, systems-oriented, and applied.
Through multi-actor collaboration and a Whole Institution Approach, eNaBlS encourages universities to become Living Labs themselves, breaking down silos and promoting holistic sustainability practices.
Ultimately, the project aims to address urgent sustainability challenges by driving transformative change in communities, business models, and lifestyles, aligning with the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 and the EU Climate Adaptation Strategy.
