Forum on the Mission Adaptation to Climate Change

Tuesday, 7 June 2022 - 0:00 to 23:45 (Europe/Brussels)
Brussels and Online

EU Missions are a new way to bring concrete solutions to some of our greatest challenges. They have ambitious goals and will deliver concrete results by 2030. The Mission Adaptation to Climate Change is set to support at least 150 European regions and communities towards climate resilience by 2030.  The mission will foster the development of innovative solutions to adapt to climate change and encourage regions, cities and communities to lead the societal transformation.

Join the first Forum on the Mission Adaptation to Climate Change in the premises of the European Committee of Regions in Brussels. The Forum will bring together regional and local authorities, members of the European Parliament, of the Committee of Regions, research organisations and non-governmental organisations.

The annual Forum will be the moment to take stock, to identify issues, to provide direction and to define the path ahead for the Mission. It will also present the situation in Europe regarding adaptation to climate change and will gather input from regions, including on intentions to participate in the Mission.

This whole-day meeting will be hybrid, welcoming participants online and offline.
