An exciting, new networking event for Impact investors, NbS projects and Nature-based Enterprises is taking place in London on 24th June as part of the London Climate Action Week.
Private sector investment is essential to bridge the gap in financing Nature. However, there still remains a gulf in expectations between private investors and nature entrepreneurs and project developers. *Changing Mindsets: Mobilising More Private Investment for Nature in Europe* will help move the dial by providing a space for investors, project developers and nature entrepreneurs to meet, exchange views, and build relationships. The invite-only event, co-organised by UNEP-WCMC (NetworkNature) and Horizon Nua (Invest4Nature), will include a panel discussion, a series of breakout sessions to dive into key topics and pitches from project developers, nature-based enterprises and investors.
Horizon Nua will provide a support package to a select number of Nature-based Enterprises that covers investment readiness and pitch training, and travel and accommodation to attend and participate in the event. If you are an enterprise (private independent entity) operating in Europe and involved in sectors focused on nature/biodiversity conservation and restoration (e.g. regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, land-use innovation, blue economy), or if you know any businesses that fit the requirements, then consider applying for this opportunity.
Requirements of NbEs/NbS projects:
- Proficiency in English and availability to be in London on June 24th.
- Ideally novel/innovative/high tech NbEs/NbS projects that can demonstrate an ability to grow/scale up.
- Completion of google form by May 25th.
- Participation in online training hosted by HNUA (June 10th - 17th approx.).

Specific training for pitching/investment readiness will be provided by HNUA on June 10th and 17th. This will comprise of at least two online hour-long sessions that will support NbEs to pitch their offering at the event on June 24th.
Please note that your application does not guarantee acceptance to HNUA's support package or to attend the event, which is limited in capacity. You might be accepted to attend the event only (no access to Horizon Nua support package), meaning you will need to cover your own expenses. Attendance at the event is free.
