The Joint Research Centre and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences co-organised a one day conference of urban biodiversity in Sofia on 24 April 2018. The conference received financial support from DG Environment from the European Commission. It was also a side event of the European Green Week.
A conference report is available here. It contains summaries of the plenary presentations as well as a set of key messages which address policymakers from the EU, Member States. The key messages outline specific knowlegde goals and actions for enhancing biodiversity in Europe's cities.
