Discover the 3 modules of GRAS!
Learning module: This module allows you to understand the main drivers behind important changes impacting the grasslands in Flanders based on a series of causal loop diagrams (CLDs). It also gives you more information about the theoretic principles and symbolic language needed to understand these CLDs and hence to get started in the other 2 modules.
Interactive maps: This module explains the geographical dimension of grasslands in Flanders based on different interactive maps linked to their biological, environmental, hydrological, agricultural and landscape value. In addition to this, it also allows you to assess under different climate and socio-economic scenarios which grasslands are in danger of disappearing. Via a filter function, selections from these maps can be combined.
Interactive CLD: This module brings the grassland CLD to life in a quantitative way. You can manipulate ‘policy variables’ to see their impact on key variables under different climate and socio-economic scenarios and hence get an impression of the impact of planned policies on the Flemish grassland system.
