April 16: Beyond Nature-based Solutions, with the COEVOLVERS Living Labs (Co-creation with the More-than-Human sandbox)
What if Nature-based Solutions weren't organised primarily around human needs? But around what it takes for multispecies communities to live, hold, and evolve together?
This is the starting point for our 12th learning session of the Co-creation with the More-than-Human sandbox.
On April 16, we will work with insights coming out of the EU-funded COEVOLVERS Living Labs across Europe. That same week, our main speaker Carsten Herrmann-Pillath, will be in Italy, working onsite with one of the Living Lab teams, and he'll join the online dialogue directly from there.
We'll engage with emerging insights, observations, and tensions from the Living Lab on how turn the concept of care - as something embodied and relational, that emerges in how humans and other beings actually meet, interact, and share space - into practice for NbS.
Asking different questions:
🍃 What does this place need to sustain the life within it?
🍃 How do we design for cohabitation, not just use?
🍃 What changes when relationships extend beyond the human?
