From Meadows to Markets: Advancing Seagrass Restoration and Sustainable Financing

The event is hosted by Member of the European Parliament, Dimitris Tsiodras and co-organised by The Green Tank within the framework of the Interreg EURO-MED ARTEMIS project.

The discussion will bring together EU policymakers, experts, researchers, civil society representatives, and private sector stakeholders to explore:
 

  • financing opportunities for the implementation of the EU Nature Restoration Regulation (NRR) for seagrass ecosystems
  • the role of high-integrity seagrass nature credits in supporting biodiversity and climate objectives
