Gap description:
Potential mismatches between social and ecological time are rarely openly addressed, but they may have major implications for the success of NbS and therefore need to be better understood. This should include a more fine-grained understanding of the different time-requirements and therefore different potentials for mismatches between different types of NbS, as well as strategies for avoiding or overcoming such mismatches
