It provides an overview of identified best practices representing diverse types of NbS for water treatment, different financing and observation and monitoring arrangements, practices of stakeholder involvement in financing capital investment and operation and maintenance, managing the NbS for water treatment infrastructures, and conducting the operation and maintenance. The report is targeted at public and private entities interested in developing NbS for water treatment projects in cities and aims to condense the wide existing knowledge on NbS that applies to the specific subset of NbS for water, to provide a comprehensive overview and guide for stakeholders, policymakers, investors, and researchers.
