European Roadmap to 2030 for Research and Innovation on Nature-based Solutions

This Roadmap to 2030, facilitated by NetworkNature, identifies core action areas for European research and innovation on Nature-based solutions (NbS) that are essential to achieve EU goals for NbS development and deployment. It offers a holistic view of the efforts made thus far, identifies critical knowledge gaps, and promotes the collaboration and coordination of European research and innovation activities related to NbS. The overarching vision of the roadmap is for EU research and innovation to empower policy, practice, businesses, and citizens in mobilizing the full potential of NbS in achieving a sustainable and just transformation of society, building on robust evidence and expertise. This roadmap is grounded in the co-development, implementation and dissemination of knowledge and its timeframe is aligned with key EU and global policy processes related to NbS and R&I.
