Over the past four years, Invest4Nature has worked to address the challenge of investment in NbS by building the foundations needed to make NbS more measurable, comparable, and scalable. Our work has shown that scaling NbS requires more than good intentions. It requires better evidence, clearer valuation methods, stronger business cases, and meaningful dialogue between policy, practice and finance.
Through research, real-world testing in five Living Labs across Europe, and close collaboration with policymakers, municipalities, businesses and financial stakeholders, the project has developed an array of research, results, and outputs on scaling-up NbS.
