Featuring new research and case studies from 40+ EU projects involved in NetworkNature Taskforce 3 on Finance and Business Models for a Nature-Positive Economy, this report sets out both the rationale and roadblocks for nature-positive transformation from a business and policy perspective.
It also considers the important role that both Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and Nature-based Enterprises (NbEs) play in the transition to a Nature-Positive Economy.
The panel of speakers will include both business representatives, Pavel Dostal (CEO of GreenVille) and Claudia Pérez Casas (Environmental and Energy Specialist at Sacyr) as well as representatives from the policy sphere at local government and EU level, Fleur van Ooststroom-Brummel (European Commission) and Maija Bergstrom (The City of Helsinki).
Siobhan McQuaid, Director of Horizon Nua and Associate Director of the Centre for Social Innovation, Trinity College Dublin, will share key messages from the newly launched publication, and will moderate the panel discussion.
