n the context of the implementation of the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework and and the negociation of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation which Third Meeting (SBI3) began on 16 May 2021, PANORAMA Partners are organising this information session to show how PANORAMA works, find out how to contribute to and benefit from the partnership.
The event will feature exemplary PANORAMA Solutions, make the link with the decisions that will be taken later this year at UN Convention on Biodiversity COP15 and discuss PANORAMA’s potential for capacity development, knowledge management and implementation in the context of the new post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
Successful and sustainable implementation is built on inspiring examples of good practice. This is the philosophy behind the PANORAMA – Solutions for a Healthy Planet initiative, which documents and promotes inspirational, successful, and replicable solutions for nature conservation and sustainable development. PANORAMA constitutes a unique tool to support capacity development, knowledge ma-nagement and peer to peer learning. It currently offers more than 800 solutions from over 600 solution providers for cross-sectoral learning and scaling up to enhance implementation of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
