Nature-Based Entrepreneurship: City Strategies & Recommendations

Nature-based entrepreneurship is a core element of the Connecting Nature Framework and supports the planning, delivery, and stewardship of large-scale nature-based solutions in cities. As the field of nature-based enterprises (NBE) and entrepreneurship is still novel, the Connecting Nature strategy for nature-based entrepreneurship consisted of: 1) NBE research, 2) implementation of NBE support strategies in cities, and 3) outreach activities to provide visibility and support for the sector. This report summarizes the results and recommendations for each element of the strategy, and analyses the different objectives, strategies and results of nature-based entrepreneurship strategies in the 10 Connecting Nature cities.
