WATERGRID

WATERGRID aims to develop and implement Smart Water Grids (SWGs) at five demonstration sites across diverse European regions using Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) to improve climate resilience and water management, particularly during extreme droughts. Through digital tools, such as a design app and a monitoring platform, stakeholder collaboration steered by the use of a stakeholder engagement toolbox, and policy integration, WATERGRID seeks to enhance water availability, drought resilience and biodiversity, reduce pollution, and thus generate significant economic savings.
