Held on September 3rd and 4th, 2024, the first Rewilding Voices edition focused on the “Potentials of rewilding”. Participants from wildE and other rewilding organizations joined forces to explore the potentials of rewilding, while visiting the iconic rewilding site of Gelderse Poort and showcasing the area’s key benefits.

This interview features the European Wilderness Society, sharing the organization’s vision of rewilding potential, the Tatra Mountains case study, and a personal rewilding story.

Rewilding Voices is an initiative from the wildE project. It involves a series of filmed interviews and discussions with a small number of participants about rewilding in relation to different topics, such as agriculture, economy, etc. During the next 3 years, wildE will host several dialogues that will contribute to the debate around rewilding, bringing together different views from wildE partners and other relevant stakeholders to explore pathways for its upscaling.
