Generation Climate Europe, the largest coalition of youth-led networks on climate and environmental issues at the European level, is running an online workshop on 'Embracing Nature’s Wisdom: An introduction to Nature-based Solutions from a youth perspective'.
The Nature-based Solutions Team within the Biodiversity Working Group is organizing an online workshop on nature-based solutions (NbS) and their potential to drive European cities into healthier and more resilient environments. NbS are long-term solutions that provide climate change adaptation and mitigation benefits, as they promote environmental restoration and decarbonization.
The online workshop wants to create a space for young people to share knowledge and ideas to incorporate nature-based solutions in local urban development strategies. NbS play an important role in the physical and mental well-being of people.
This workshop will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the issues surrounding Nature-based solutions from brilliant speakers.
