The 13th European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO26) will take place from 17 to 19 June 2026 in Guimarães, Portugal. City representatives, experts, and stakeholders from local and regional institutions will gather in the European Green Capital 2026 to advance strategies, initiatives, and actions on climate change adaptation, disaster risk management, and the strengthening of urban resilience.
The 2026 edition will focus on integrated approaches to climate resilience that go beyond adaptation alone, inspired by Guimarães’s long-standing commitment to embedding sustainability within its cultural identity. Particular attention will be given to the leadership and innovation of small and medium-sized cities, highlighting their capacity to drive bottom-up approaches and to offer valuable insights for climate resilience efforts worldwide through their close connection to citizens.
Further information on registration for EURESFO26 will be available soon.
