The session will engage cities, networks of local authorities together with academics and practitioners. These stakeholders will discuss in a participatory way and reflect upon three main questions:
i) How does the right to the city, included in the Habitat III New Urban Agenda, contribute to urban inclusivity?
ii) What are some of the challenges faced by cities around the world to move towards inclusive urban regeneration?
iii) What is the role of EU funded research and innovation to reduce gentrification and inequalities within and between cities and regions?
