Online conference
IPBES’ new work programme includes a thematic assessment of the underlying causes of biodiversity loss, determinants of transformative change and options for achieving the 2050 vision for biodiversity (transformative change assessment).
An online conference, held over three days, will be an opportunity for participants to provide input regarding specific policy relevant questions to be addressed by the assessment. The information collected during the online conferences will be provided to the groups of experts assisting with the scoping of the assessment.
IPBES are running a second three day online conference, between 30 September - 2 October, to provide early input to the scoping process of the IPBES transformative change assessment.
