Many nature-based solutions (NBS) can be used to solve urban challenges and each one offers different co-benefits and can be used in different contexts. They can be used alone, in combination, or integrated with grey infrastructure. Matching the solutions to the problems experienced in a particular place can be challenging.
This short webinar on 2nd December at 10 am CET is an introduction to resources developed by the GrowGreen and Ignition projects to support decision makers, planners, businesses and others in comparing green and grey options to use the right solutions in the right place for the right problem. It highlights the GrowGreen compendium of nature-based and ‘grey’ solutions to address climate and water-related problems in European cities, developed by Trinomics, and the Ignition evidence base for nature-based solutions.
