This online interactive conference will be addressed by both UK Government Minister Lord Goldsmith and Welsh Government Minister Julie James. The event is designed for landowners and managers, foresters, land agents, rural advisors, sustainability leaders, policy advisers, regulators, researchers and woodland specialists across all sectors, to tackle the unique challenges of how to significantly increase woodland creation and management in England and Wales.

Building on the success of the inaugural 2020 Conference, delegates will gain invaluable insight into:

  • The business case for landowners and managers to become involved in woodland creation and management: grants, revenue and opportunity costs.
  • Innovations in woodland creation programmes.
  • Opportunities in agroforestry and planting on vacant and derelict land.
  • Actions that will grow capability for woodland creation and management: nursery stock, biosecurity, skills and infrastructure.
