Achieving a Healthy Green Recovery - the essential role of green infrastructure

Organised by the TCPA on behalf of the Green Infrastructure Partnership and Natural England, this online conference will provide an opportunity to gain an understanding of:

  • the role of green infrastructure in the delivery of a healthy green recovery through creating distinctive, community-focussed, nature-rich healthy environments that address social inequalities and climate change,
  • how new policy and delivery initiatives such as biodiversity net gain, green social prescribing and the nature recovery network can support green infrastructure, and
  • the draft new national Green Infrastructure Standards Framework, due to be launched in 2022, with a pre-view of GI Mapping and tools

The event will be of particular interest to: national, regional and local politicians; planners; environmentalists; park managers; ecologists; landscape architects and land managers; developers; public health professionals; and academics.
