Organized by the EU-funded COOLSCHOOLS project, the event will foster dynamic discussions and share new research and innovative practices on nature-based solutions in school environments. It will showcase learnings and resources from the cities of Barcelona, Paris, Rotterdam, Brussels and beyond, including aspects related to equity and accessibility, biodiversity practices, cognitive & behavioral development, safety & quality, inclusive governance and nature-based education.
The conference will feature a mix of keynote presentations and interactive workshops, inputs from experts and leaders in the field, and site visits to experience nature-based school interventions.

This event is tailored to all city makers passionate about creating greener, more resilient and inclusive urban school environments. This includes representatives of local governments and NGOs, urban planners, researchers, educators and activists as well as policymakers, landscape architects, institutional funders and representatives of EU institutions.
