We assess social and environmental drivers and barriers to rewilding intertidal seascapes amid climate change and organise Multi-Actor Labs to understand the seascapes’ significance across different stakeholders.

System Thinking

We're adopting a systems thinking approach to predict and expand the future of coastal areas across Europe. Our goal is to make informed decisions that benefit both the environment and society.

Demonstration sites & Key habitats

Our focus is on three vital intertidal soft sediment habitats:
saltmarsh, seagrass meadows, and mudflats across 10 demonstrators in Europe and the USA and Canada.

Innovative Tools

We're developing tools and methods for successful rewilding, to ensure high ecological and societal benefits for a resilient, climate-neutral European shorelines.
