Landscapes4Future: Pathway to Sustainable Landscape Development", coordinated by BOKU University.
The Austrian Living Lab focuses on integrating biodiversity and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) into landscape planning and Higher Education through place-based learning and collaboration with municipalities and other local and regional stakeholders. Building on BOKU’s existing expertise and networks, eNaBlS has enabled a more structured Living Lab approach linking university teaching with real-world planning challenges in rural and peri-urban settings, including the development and testing of NBS approaches with students and stakeholders. Through collaboration with BOKU’s Landscape Innovation Lab (LILA) and other educational and practice partners, the Living Lab supports experiential and transdisciplinary learning and explores links between Higher Education, professional practice and VET/TVET.
