Online

The NICE Cities Panel (NCP) aims to gather NICE water experts, the Pilot Cities, Fellow Sites (FELLOWs) and cities that integrate the panel to exchange knowledge about wastewater treatment NbS and mutually inspire actions between them.

This 4th event will focus on the Connecting Nature Enterprise Platform (CNEP) as a platform that promotes the marriage between the suppliers and the buyers of services. Our CNEP ambassador, Kieran Farrell, will present an overview of the services provided on NbS, and then discussions will be held in separate breakout sessions to reflect on how the offers align with the market needs identified by the different participants in the panel. Afterwards, a designated rapporteur from each group will report back and the floor will be given to all participants for questions and answers. This will inspire the NCP members to design a series of webinars conducted by the CNEP with a focus on the potential delivery of useful services to meet the needs of the water community related to NbS and wastewater treatment.

Organisers: ICLEI Europe
Language: This meeting will be held in English
Workshop Dynamics: Presentations and Interactive Discussions

Goals of the panel’s event:

  • Introduce the CNEP main endeavours: what can be offered as suppliers to city makers, local
    administrations and governments?
  • Bring the inputs from NCP demands from local governments perspectives: what are the requests
from buyers, are the nature-based enterprises within CNEP covering these demands?
