The European Commission has launched a call for applications to join the Expert Group on the Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (ESIR). This multidisciplinary group advises the Commission on complex research and innovation policy challenges.
ESIR’s work addresses a broad range of topics, including competitiveness, the sustainability transition, security and defence, emerging technologies, and innovation in R&I policy. The group plays a key role in shaping strategic thinking and providing high-level input to guide policy development.
Selected experts will be appointed for a two-year mandate.
