Oppla meets key user groups

Paul Mahony presents Oppla
1 December 2015

Oppla recently engaged stakeholders from the private sector, govement and non-govemental organisations to get feedback and inputs on the platform. The workshop was organised by the OPERAs project and took place at Edinburgh University on the 25-26 November 2015. The stakeholders reviewed key elements in the strategic development of Oppla covering the business model, goveance, market place, community of practice and guidance tools. They also provided feedback on the overall objectives of Oppla and how the platform engages users. These inputs will be used by Oppla to roll-out the next level of development.

The stakeholders participating in the workshop are members of the OPERAs User Board and regularly provide guidance and advice on operationalising ecosystem services and natural capital. They represent a diverse range of European private companies, govement ministries and non-govemental organisations that are actively involved in ecosystem services and natural capital.
