At present, there isn't a single 'hub' of information through which SMEs can identify nature-based solutions linked to their primary businesses activities. This is something that Oppla hopes to address. In the meantime, you might find it useful to consider the following resources as a starting point:
CORDIS - Community Research and Development Information Service. A "one stop shop" for information on EU-funded research projects. You can search by subject or programme to link current research to your primary business activities.
Nature-Based Solutions to Societal Challenges | International conference | 18 - 20 May 2015, Ghent, Belgium. The outputs and presentations from this event are available online and may contain some useful links for you too follow up.
Ecosystems Knowledge Network: a UK-based network of practitioners and SMEs (with European links), which may be able to put you in touch with other businesses, agencies and good practice, relevant to your sector. Similarly, you might try contacting the European Nature Conservation Agencies (ENCA) network.
Once Oppla is operational (Beta launch 2016), we’ll be able to assist with your enquiry directly. Keep in touch!
I am not sure if this is what you are after, Martin, but we model that sort of thing as a consultancy. Happy to help if we can, or point you in the right direction if we cannot. See http://viridianlogic.com/ and drop us a line if you think we can be of use.
