Greater Easterhouse Green and Blue Network

Green Infrastructure Strategic Intervention: Greater Easterhouse

The project will involve the creation of two green-blue infrastructure corridors which will connect to the large Seven Lochs Wetland Park. The green networks will provide communities in the Greater Easterhosue area with a green connection to the larger wetland park but will also provide them with a local greenspace.

Bird-friendly garden of Szeged

The initiative was the idea of enthusiastic parents and teachers, who were really keen on the close-nature surroundings of their children. They worried about the local air quality as a four-lane highway goes near to the school. The discussions with the involvment of experts started in 2016 and the first steps were made in community collaboration.
