The latest Emissions Gap Report from the UN Environment Programme finds that despite a brief dip in carbon dioxide emissions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is still heading for a temperature rise in excess of 3°C this century.
The report promotes a green recovery from COVID-19, featuring nature-based solutions and zero-emissions technologies, which can still slow climate change.
